Tango Biosciences has been awarded a phase II SBIR grant by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in September 2026. This award will support the continued development of Tango Biosciences’ phage display platform to discover phosphobodies, antibody-like molecules that recognize distinct phosphorylated targets with unprecedented precision and specificity. The platform and affinity reagents generated in this program will advance our ability to design highly specific antibodies and antibody-mimics towards phosphorylated proteins, providing added confidence when developing research tools, therapeutics, or in diagnostic applications.
